How the questions are sourced

All questions, scenarios, and explanations are original, written from scratch and not drawn from IAPP's practice exam. Every question cites the specific BoK v2.1 performance indicator it targets and the relevant Sybex study-guide chapter, so a wrong answer points you straight back to the source material rather than leaving you guessing.

Common questions

Is this the official IAPP AIGP practice exam?

No. All 341 questions are original and written independently. IAPP sells its own official AIGP practice exam separately, and these mocks share no items with it, so you can still use the official one as a clean final check.

How closely do the mock exams match the real AIGP exam?

The real exam is 100 questions in 180 minutes (3 hours), with a passing score of 300 on a 500-point scale. Each mock exam here is shorter (66 to 71 questions), and its timer is scaled to the same pace per question, so a timed run feels like the real thing.

Which Body of Knowledge version does it follow?

IAPP's AIGP Body of Knowledge v2.1, effective 2 February 2026, across all four domains: the foundations of AI governance; how laws, standards and frameworks apply to AI; governing AI development; and governing AI deployment and use. Where the law changed after that baseline, such as the EU AI Act Digital Omnibus (Regulation (EU) 2026/1744), the explanations give the exam answer and note the current position.
